Frequently asked
I’m ready to book you for my wedding. What are the next steps?
Yeah! We’re so excited to be your wedding photography team. Our next steps are to send you our standard agreement and invoice you for your deposit. We request a 25% deposit for agreements over $1000. For contracts under $1000 we require a 50% deposit.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept electronic check or ACH transfers. Please let us know if you’re planning on using an electronic check/ACH payment as we have to set up invoices a little differently (on the back end) for this payment method. We’re also happy to accept traditional paper checks and cash.
Can I give you a shot list?
Shot lists are great for a select few shots that are really important to you. We also appreciate screenshots, tagging us on your Instagram inspo or making us a Pinterest board. As a rule, you don’t need to send us a list of standard shots that happen at most weddings. If you want to see our standard shot list, just say so. We’ll be happy to share our standard image shot list with you for you to read over. Anything you don’t see on our list, let us know!
Is there an extra charge for an engagement session?
NO! We include an engagement session for all of our couples who reserve a wedding day package of six hours or more. We believe in getting to know you, teaching some poses, and building a positive working relationship prior to your wedding. We encourage all of our couples to take advantage of their complimentary engagement session.
Have you shot a wedding at my venue before? Will you do a site visit?
With (literally) 1000+ venues in the Atlanta metro area, we could easily shoot a wedding at every venue in town at a new venue every day for almost three years! While there are some venues that we’ve had the privilege of shooting at on multiple occasions, generally every day is a new space. Some of our couples ask if we’re planning on doing a site visit for their venue. With time at a premium, we generally will do online research over taking an extra trip to your venue, however in some cases, like when we’re nearby and the venue team is available, we may do a site visit on a case-by-case basis.
One of the reasons we don’t typically do site visits at this stage in our career is that lighting conditions and weather are likely not going to be the same as your actual wedding day. Also, lighting conditions change throughout the day; the look and feel of a space at 1 PM will be entirely different compared to 4 PM and 9 PM at night. As Danielle is a highly experienced photographer with over 16 years of experience, she typically takes a minute or two to assess the situation, takes a couple of test shots and continue on to create fantastic images.
Do you offer any discounts if I reserve photo AND video services?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer additional discounts for couples who book both photography and videography. To be fair to all couples, we’ve maximized all package discounts for booking either photography OR videography. No further discounts will be honored on top of the existing bridal show discounts.
