About the day: Amanda told me when we were at the starting phase of booking Amanda and Jack’s wedding that they met while rock climbing and all the cute looks that kicked off when they met at Central Rock Gym. Obviously, we have to incorporate CRG into your engagement photos. That’s where you met. That’s where you climb.

So we started with a mini-session Atlanta rock climbing engagement photograph session there.

Now, no offense to CRG and workout attire, because Amanda is super cute in her climbing gear, but if you ask any of my brides how they want to be photographed, “sweaty and post-workout” has never been an answer I’ve ever received. So we did their “real” engagement session at Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

With a nod to Jack’s Chinese heritage, Amanda and Jack rocked the red for their engagement photos. In Chinese wedding culture, red represents love, happiness, prosperity and good fortune, with a bonus, also warding off any evil spirits.
